Mother watched Ted and Nina go down the hill across the empty lot.
They went around the corner.
Nina kept hold of Ted's hand. Ted feels safe with Nina.
At the foot of the hill they came to the house that always looked surprised!
"Oh." Said Nina. "It looks like Daddy when I put my elbows on the table."
"It looks like Mother when I forget to comb my hair," said Ted.
"Let's
go - fast," said Nina
